When any of following conditions detected:
-
During switching solenoid (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) ON signal input, overcurrent continues for 0.05 seconds or more.
-
During switching solenoid (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) OFF signal input, open circuit continues for 0.05 seconds or more.
-
During switching solenoid (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) ON signal input, open circuit continues for 0.01 seconds or more.
-
During switching solenoid (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) OFF signal input, current continues to be applied for 0.1 seconds or more.
-
Short to GND in switching solenoid (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) continues for 0.1 seconds or more.
-
Switching solenoids (SMC1, SMC2, SRC1 or SRC2) shorted for 0.1 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the VSC actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration
.
PROCEDURE
(a) Clear the DTC(s)
.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Check if the same DTC(s) is output
.
